One Thousand Hockey Legs, popularly known as OTHL, is a sports promotion organization. However, its identity is empowerment of girls through the medium of sports. OTHL applied for public donation to run its various program for the first time in 2019, that is, 10 years after inception. The program of Raising Fund was named 'I Support OTHL'. The idea is to collect all supporters, well wishers and promoters under one umbrella, engage them in various activities, provide them with all info about daily activities and progress. It has been our cherished objective to improve the fitness levels of our boys and girls. We have since inception of One Thousand Hockey Legs project have been doing something on this front.
These efforts have been increased manyfold ever since we started the OTHL for girl-students too, meaning last three years.

Three of our girls were among the Delhi State Senior Championship winning team; while OTHl's Sr team annexed bronze at the same event. Both were held today at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, New Delhi. The prestigious State event was organized by the State body, Delhi Hockey. Our OTHL girls too took part. They, led by Dwarka School's Moslima Khatoon, could not reach the semifinal despite winning two matches in the four-team pool.

We have been rocking. Many boys and girls of Under-16 years category are making waves. As the Delhi State, which is our nerve-centre of our activity, is gearing up for many tournaments, our boys and girls are getting selected for the State in numbers.

We are fairly successful in bringing girls of age group 10-12 from class rooms to sporting fields. In the last years despite COVID-19 infused breaks, we now have about 240 kids in our rolls, to train, mould and create a future for them.
Sports development is an integrated program. Education, skills, recreation and other vital parameters need to be combined in adequate measure so that sports is not developed at the cost sports or vice versa.
