Dedicating his run as "Run to support the cause of One Thousand Hockey Legs", Kautuk did pledge raising for the organization.

Hockey was seriously felt in Kanpur on February 1 and 2, when about 150 children and 50 others celebrated ‘Feel Hockey On Babu’s Day’.
The novel way of imparting children a sense of history – gathering for hockey on a legends’ birth anniversary – was staged at the Greenpark Stadium.
On both days, two full grounds, made match ready by the stadium authorities, were bubbling with the enthusiasm of boys and girls of 8 leading schools of the city.

On the occasion of former Hockey player Late K D Singh 'Babu' 's birth anniversary, 02nd Feb, One Thousand Hockey Legs is organizing a festival for 2 days, 1st and 2nd Feb '10: FEEL HOCKEY on BABU's Day.
K D Singh Babu hailed from Barabanki and was double Gold Medalist (1948 and 52 Olympics). In 1952 Helsinki Olympics, he led the team. For more info on Babu, you can visit:
Dear hockey students in Kanpur, our new hockey home
A month ago, we informed you all that there will be lot of hockey activities in Kanpur, the fourth and last city to join One Thousand Hockey Legs Program.
Now, it is time to remind that, and then go for rejoicing. Because hockey is coming in a fullpledged manner.
On February 1 and 2, our boys and girls will have a lot of fun with hockey in Kanpur.

On the sunny Sunday morning, OTHL enrolled school Shanti Sangha Girls High School, Behela played a friendly match against the "Thunderbirds".
Thunderbirds is a team of enthusiatic pre-teens coached by our Kolkata Project Officer, Dr. Shankar Kumar Chatterjee.
