So hockey was born again.

Two coaches -- Rahul and Alam -- along with this writer saw the take off of hockey today, Monday, the 4th April 2011. School PET Ajay co-ordinated the effort.

Starting from 9 in the morning upto 13.00 hrs school children of class 6th and 7th, who had their PT period, were asked their willingness to join hockey team.

Those who nodded yes were given sticks and ball, with both coaches putting them through the drill.

This whole week will be spent on spotting talent this way. Once a core group is identified this week, serious competition will commence from next week.

From next Monday onwards, our coach Alam will take coaching from morning 7 to 8 to the ore group.
