Coaches invited for training OTHL’s team for HI Sub-Jr National Championship

Hockey Citizen Group which runs its flagship project One Thousand Hockey Legs invites interested coaches to apply for training and managing Sub-Junior boys’ team for the forthcoming Hockey India Men’s Sub-Junior National Championship to be held in Imphal, Manipur in the first week of May 2016.

This NGO is affiliated with Hockey India, by virtue of it we are given direct entry for the Hockey India National Championship.

The 6th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men’s National Championship (Division B) to be held in Imphal, Manipur between 5th to 16th May 2016.

Citizen Hockey XI is in Pool D clubbed with strong teams such as Bihar, Coorg, Rajasthan, Assam and Mumbai School Sports Association.

Citizen Hockey XI is the name under which OTHL plays its team in the HI nationals.

Citizen Hockey XI took part in the last two editions in Vadodara and Jammu, and won two matches each, did not qualify for the semis.

Now we have full two months left for the event to come.

Coaches who interested to take up the challenge are invited. The criteria for selection will be based on experience in training sub-junior teams.

The tenure of coaches will be three months.

The final phase of selection will be held at Shivaji Stadium on 27th, 28th and 29th March.

The team will be given exposure with trips to nearby States.

Technical Data

Tenure: 3 months from date of appointment and extendable (to manage subsequent Summer Camps).

Deadline for application: 12th May 2016

Remuneration: Package, Negotiable

Preference: Coaching experience of Sub-Junior boys
