Students come out with flying colours

PUDUCHERRY: Petit Seminaire Higher Secondary School was adjudged one of the top five schools in the State by the Hockey Citizen Group, New Delhi. In the league matches conducted, the school secured the second place.

In the essay competition, R. Ranjith of Class VIII won the first place, I. Reventh of Class VIII won the second place, and Sunil Kumar of Class IX, the third place. In the quiz competition, the team comprising I. Reventh and Rathinakumar of Class VIII and Amrith Priya Paulson of Class IX bagged the first prize.

Prizes were also given to J. Rozario Bosco and Simon Jude of Class IX, and P. Pradeep Raj of Class VIII.

The ‘One Thousand Hockey Legs’ trophy for 2009-09 was also given to Petit Seminaire Higher Secondary School for overall achievement.
