As you all know, eight schools have joined One Thousand Hockey Legs in Kanpur. You might have seen these schools listed in this website, and also you know well sticks and balls were distributed to these schools in the midway through December.

we learnt some schools have started giving practice to boys and girls. In one school, the ground is getting ready, in the other we are looking for a local coach. By and large, most schools have taken hockey seriously.

Just playing in the school premises is a beginning, In order to consolidate the gains, and also to give a competitive edge to all schools, we have a plan.

This plan is to celebrate KD Singh Babu's birth anniversary among the schools.

KD Singh Babu was born in Uttar Pradesh. He capatined India for the 1952 Olympics hockey Gold.
