Day 1: Rusty Start for OTHL Second Leg

The rains last week had nearly spoiled the show for OTHL.
All the school grounds soaked with water and pools of water all over the place.
It took OTHL team a while to decide what crisis management measures can be taken.
With the arrival of another Trustee, V Ravichandran, it was expected to have nothing less than a super show
With this back drop, it was decided that both the matches will be held at Petit Seminaire Primary grounds.
The matches started as per schedule at 1600hrs.
The first match of the day was GHS Kuruvinatham v Vivekanandha Hr Sc School, Lawspet.
A hard contest, the boys were Kuruvinatham were the winners scoring just 1 goal in the whole match, there by ending the proceedings by 1-0
Santosh for Kuruvinatham scored the goal
Rs. 1000 were handed over to GHS Kuruvinatham and Rs. 250 were given to the Lawspet School as the prize money.
Santosh from Kuruvinatham and I Varatharajan from Vivekanandha, Lawspet were adjudged the man of the match from either sides.
The second match was between Amalorpavam Hr Sc School v Petit Seminaire where Petit thrashed Amalorpavam by 6-0.
For Petit, Balaji scored 2 goals whereas Prithvi poured in 4 goals.
Prithvi from Petit and Vijaykumar from Amalopavam school were given out the Player of the match awards.
The match was officiated by Sudish Kumar and Rajesh.
