1. The tournament will be played as per FIH rules unless specified otherwise.
2. Each team can have 11 or 9 players, match to be played in 2 or 3 spells with equal time and rest, with varying playtime, maximum of 50 min.
3. Only teams subscribed to One Thousand Hockey Legs of Hockey Citizen Group and players born on or after 12.12.1997 will participate.

It was a great occasion for everybody in the One Thousand Hockey Legs when Delhi Cup 2011 was held recently.
Its a great opportunity for the young boys to play on the same turf where in the last year two major international tournaments were held -- Commonwealth Games and Hero Honda World Cup.
Yes, the 3-day tournament was organized at the Major Dhyan Chand National stadium, located at the heart of Delhi.

We, volunteers, were there in the Modern School campus recently, where one of the Delhi Education Zone's hockey competition was held. Our OTHL subscribing school, DTEA, won the event (Under-14) that day. We are happy to present below the observations made by Dr. Kartik Saxena, a parent who watched the match. August 2011 was hectic in the down south. Puducherry, oldest OTHL Centre, was reverberating with activity. In the 90s, Air Force Bal Bharati school, located in the heart of delhi, hardly a km from India gate, used to be the dominating school hockey team.
However, like many other schools in Delhi, this school also lost the hockey track somewhere

The final day of the OTHL 2011 was played after a delay of a week. The earlier scheduled date of 13th February, 2011 had to be postponed due to a political rally. The matches on the 20th were also under a cloud because another rally had been called, this time by the opposition party. The first match on the second day of the OTHL hockey festival 2011 was played between the two Julien Day Schools - Ganganagar and Kalyani. JDS Ganganagar dominated the proceedings. JDS Kalyani made counterattacks but it was the solid defending of Neelesh Rai and Osman Siddiqui of JDS Ganganagar, which made all the difference. The OTHL Kolkata Hockey Festival 2011 began with much fanfare on Friday, the 11th February at the Ganganagar Julien Day School campus.
All the schools subscribed to OTHL in Kolkata converged here for the much anticipated Festival of Hockey, where matches and quiz events kept the hockey boys and girls enthralled throughout the day. There was energy and enthusiasm abound amidst the kids, which is seen to be enjoyed.

FOURTH MATCH: Kanaipur Sriguru boys. JDS Ganganagar upset all calculations when they went into the lead in the 4th minute through Lovepreet Singh. Barely had the shock settled when Lovepreet slammed in the second goal in the very next minute. He completed his hat trick in the 7th minute through a third field goal.
