After many tours and many camps, each event helping downsizing the aspirants, the last word has come. One Thousand Hockey Legs has been privileged to get direct entry in the Hockey India Sub-Junior National Championship. We have been participating in the Sub-Junior Nationals from 2014. Our teams performed well in Baroda, Jammu, Imphal and Bangalore. The next edition comes in the first week of January 2018.

With two consecutive victories in as many as days, the Delhi based NGO team One Thousand Hockey Legs XI has entered the Super League of 35th Sub-Jr Nehru Cup being underway in Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, New Delhi.

Sunil Vohra Memorcial Cup is an important hockey calendar activity in the Union Territory of Chandigarh, which is capital for prosperous Punjab and Haryana. The event is for school team and for Under-14 boys. Like last year, OTHL entered its Delhi team. In addition, OTHL's Kolkata also made their maiden entry. OTHL Delhi conducted summer camps in many centres across the city: Anglo-Arabic Sr Sec School Grounds, Yamuna Sports Complex and Union Academy Sr Sec Schools to quote a few. These camps ran for three to 10 weeks starting from the last week of April. With the onset of monsoon, the month of July and mid-August wtinessed opening of schools. Since our grounds have become wet, these 45 - 50 days were used for focussing OTHL wards on academics.

Its summer time. School boys are relative free, enjoying long summer vacation. Its also ideal time to travel, mix with people all around, gain experience both on sports fields and social front. In keeping with its policy of providing these opportunities to our under-privileged kids, One Thousand Hockey Legs organized two trip in May-June. First one for those boys who attend summer camp in Yamuna Sports Complex, majority of them from Govt Boys Senior Secondary School, Ghittorni.
